Ceiling repair and replacement is a very common enquiry usually after water damage from a leak or from age in older properties. Older ceilings made from lath and plaster are typically removed and replaced with plasterboard; the new plasterboard can be secured to existing wooden strapping and then plastered with a skim coat ready for painting
